Found on Dalehouse Bank as part of a row of cottages, the Fox and Hounds is a small pub with a cosy, homely feeling. A traditional pub where there’s no televisions to be seen, it’s a great spot for those who enjoy the “old-school” feeling whilst sampling the refreshments.
Comfy sofas, wooden beams, hunting prints on the wall and a warm fire make up the interior of the pub. The menu boasts a selection of “pub grub” classics at reasonable prices. Visitors often compliment the well priced pints too, great for a midday stop off.
A local favourite, you can often find a handful of regulars in flat caps, sharing tips from The Racing Post.
